Bra clip

The trick is to use a bra clip.

Clip one of these bra clip on the back of your bra straps. Put both straps under the flaps of the clip and you are done. You can even choose the color to match your bra.

I usually use this when I'm wearing tank top to hide those unsightly bra straps.  It works very well and there is no discomfort at all.

Accessories organiser

Do you have problem finding your pair of earring or necklace to match your outfit? I do, sometimes I have even forgotten that I have that pair of earrings. So I started my search for an accessories organizer.

The first time I came across this accessories organizer was in Takashimaya and it was really expensive.  It was also recommended in the show "Ladyfirst Singapore (女人我最大新加坡)"。 Recently, I saw it again on the internet selling at S$12.90 and I couldn't resist anymore. So I've decided to get one in Black.  It came in Pink as well.
There are 10 pockets of various sizes to fit in your earrings, rings or even bracelets. Each pocket is quite big which can fit in 2 pairs of earrings.

At the other side,  you can hang your necklaces or even watches. There are 14 loops of which 7 of them are detachable with velcro.

I can now see all my accessories at one glance and is so much easier to search for them now. Take note that it does not come with the hanger.

Mini Wipes

Came across this cute and lovely mini wipes while I was shopping at Guardian Pharmacy.

The packaging is really lovely in pastel blue and pink.

It is really mini and it's even smaller than the tissue paper.

There are 4 packets in the pack.  Each packet contains only 5 sheets and they are lightly scented. It is convenient to put it in your bag and for the kids to bring to school too.

Bag hanger

You have seen the umbrella hanger in my previous post, here comes the bag hanger. It is small and compact to keep inside your bag.

When you need it, open up the hook and hang your bag. Then place it on the edge of the table. Tadah, you will now have more space for your butt without sharing with your bag.

Eye makeup remover / corrector

This is not an ordinary cotton bud.  It is cotton bud that contains cleansing liquid.  Whenever you are outside and found that your eyeliner or mascara has smudged, you can use this to remove them effortlessly. It is great for travel too.

Directions: Twist the stick and pull the cap off. Wait a few seconds for the liquid to flow down and soak the tip wet. Use the wet tip to remove makeup where desired and the dry tip to touch up.

A closer look of the makeup remover cotton bud. It comes with 10 sticks in a box.

Umbrella hanger

Any guess for what is this?  I found this while I was walking passed Seven Eleven.

This is actually an umbrella hanger.  At times, when we are out for lunch break during raining time, we may have problem looking for place to put the wet umbrella.  This will come in handy as it will sit nicely beside your table top. I've tried it on umbrellas with either short or long handle and it works equally well.

Hair styling stick

There are many ways that you can tame those flyaway hair.  This is one of the essential tool that will help you fix those hair in just a second.

This is the hair styling stick with regular hold. It comes with strong hold as well. This is ideal when you want to create the sleek look with tie up ponytail or bun.

Directions of use:  Remove cover and simply smooth stick directly onto hair to style and tame stray ends without dirtying your hands.

This is very easy to use.  But be careful not to apply too much as it might make your hair look too greasy.

Paperself false eyelashes

Spotted these false eyelashes while I was shopping at Nex Serangoon.  Apparently it was made of paper and it's supposed to be super light.

I remembered it was featured on the Taiwanese variety "女人我最大“.  The beauty guru used it on the artiste and it sure look kind of dramatic.

I think it is more suitable to wear it if you have some formal function to attend and when you want to impress others.  It is retailing at an affordable price of S$16.90.

Length of necklace

There are traditionally seven different lengths that necklaces are available in. The length of the necklace will determine where the necklace will hang to on the wearer's body.

25cm to 32.5cm necklaces
Short necklaces, like chokers usually wrap closely around the neck

40cm to 45cm necklaces
Necklaces, strands, and chokers typically measure from 40cm to 45cm in length, staying fairly close to the neck. Attached pendants lie above the breastbone.

42.5cm to 50cm necklaces
Necklaces, and strands, measuring between 42.5cm and 50cm long, meet at top of breastbone, and can attach pendants or lockets.

50cm to 60cm necklaces
Necklaces that hang at the top of the bust line. Certain strands, and pendant necklaces also come in these lengths.

70cm to 80cm necklaces
Long necklaces that usually hang at or below the bust line. These necklaces can also be worn as a doubled strand.

Necklaces 100cm and longer
Necklaces measuring over 100cm long can hang at, or below, the navel. They are often worn either doubled or tripled.

Necklaces 120cm and longer
Often used for long strands, necklaces measuring over 120cm in length normally wrap or knot around the neck without a clasp.

Personally I prefer to have long necklace that will help to elongate my body and makes me look slimmer.

25 ways to wear a scarf

Wearing scarf is not such a big trend in the hot and humid Singapore.  But year end is coming and some of us will be traveling to the cold countries to experience the winter freeze.

Wearing scarf is definitely a must if you are going during the winter time.  So how do we wear our scarf with style? I've found this video from Wendy's lookbook that shows us 25 different ways in wearing a scarf. I'm definitely going to learn a few ways so that I can have a different style everyday for my coming December vacation in Korea >0<

So which is your favorite style?

How to tame flyaway hairs

I would like to achieve a sleek bun or ponytail as what we have seen on the fashion runway.  After doing much research, the trick is using the hairspray to tame those wispy baby hairs around the hairline.
Not to spray directly on the hair but you need certain tools. Do this as the final step after tying the ponytail or bun.

1st way - Spray the hairspray on your palm and smooth it over your flyaway hairs around the hair line.

2nd way - Spray the hairspray on a clean makeup brush and smooth it over your flyaway hairs around the hair line.

3rd way - Spray the hairspray on a clean toothbrush ( one with a full head and soft bristles)  and smooth it over your flyaway hairs around the hair line.  I've read that you can also use shine serum instead of the hairspray.

Either way, it should help you to achieve that sleek look without those flyaway hairs.

Gucci Sunshade

Recently bought a Gucci sunshade from Eyechamp.  They were having CNY promotion and got this pair of sunshade at S$250.  Initially I wanted to have something that is slim at the side but after trying so many pairs of sunglasses, this is the one that suits me best.

It is a boy size and with mother of pearl face.
